Folks,I would prefer the government controlling my healthcare any day instead of some CEO looking to make 100 million dollars salary. We gov’t controlled insurance called the VA. There’s one that runs the insurance plans that covers congress. The one which paid for Dick Cheneys’s heart transplant at 70. Are people inferior to them? I can vote the government out if they mess with my insurance but what can I do to keep that CEO in check? There is no competition because they all work together to keep prices up. But not anymore. Picked up the Teisco Melody last night and unfortunately one of the axial caps (a 80MFD x 150WV) is broken right at the cap (unable to solder back on), so the task of trying to track down replacements is on. There’s nothing in Vancouver, BC that I can purchase from local suppliers (with the exception of a couple of radial 100MFD x 160WV or 100MFD x 250V). Any advice on where I can buy replacements would be most welcome as I can put in the radials now to get the amp up and running but would like to get axials as they look more like stock units.Jim

Your idea of funny lighting could revolutionize the whole CGI industry. I can visualize how these films would look like if they were influenced by those Viewmaster reels. Too bad many people don't get it and think crisp, HD like graphics are the way to sell funny comedy films. In the end, it adds nothing to the comedy and takes out the human element of the drawings in my opinion. That's what needs to be done in order to have funnier CGI films. Embrace the human element and bend the rules a little bit for comedic effect.

There’s one that runs the insurance plans that covers congress. The one which paid for Dick Cheneys’s heart transplant at 70. Are people inferior to them? I can vote the government out if they mess with my insurance but what can I do to keep that CEO in check? There is no competition because they all work together to keep prices up. But not anymore. Not with Obamacare!

Agree the PC version is only worth buying but thats only if you have a good PC [and many people here dont lol], as for the consoles ovcourse they are 5 years old graphically because the consoles are 5 years old.As far as the consoles go for a multiplat it looks pretty good with good AA and resolution.But I will be playing this in 1600p on max not 720p on low lolVN:F [1.9.17_1161](from 0 votes)

Picked up the Teisco Melody last night and unfortunately one of the axial caps (a 80MFD x 150WV) is broken right at the cap (unable to solder back on), so the task of trying to track down replacements is on. There’s nothing in Vancouver, BC that I can purchase from local suppliers (with the exception of a couple of radial 100MFD x 160WV or 100MFD x 250V). Any advice on where I can buy replacements would be most welcome as I can put in the radials now to get the amp up and running but would like to get axials as they look more like stock units.Jim

Teal/turquoise and brown as a colour combo came into fashion a few years ago and it was a revelation to me, as I used to be a hater of brown. Agree that most of those ads discredit organised Christian religion and do nothing to question one’s faith in a higher power. I also have a son who has a love of learning and I don’t want to teach him at such an early age that things like reading, writing and math are considered “work” and “boring”, so we incorporate them into play time. When I ask him what he wants to do, he often wants to do spelling or addition or something like that.

Your idea of funny lighting could revolutionize the whole CGI industry. I can visualize how these films would look like if they were influenced by those Viewmaster reels. Too bad many people don't get it and think crisp, HD like graphics are the way to sell funny comedy films. In the end, it adds nothing to the comedy and takes out the human element of the drawings in my opinion. That's what needs to be done in order to have funnier CGI films. Embrace the human element and bend the rules a little bit for comedic effect.
